Also want to say that had some several of kids pieces of Patio furniture.have a lot of Children's Bedroom Furniture at our house and like you there are occasions. it was made of particle board and was not able to repair it. May be with this will have better luck in the future and had modern furniture to fix that used a similar solution.That was a great post to solution and saw you chose none of the above.

I recently had to repair a wooden bed. It was a double bed and it involved completely replacing the centre spine that the slats were screwed to and adding new feet to support the weight. It was a major task but now hopefully it should make the bed last a few more years. The pieces i used were lying around so it did not cst me a penny!

This is the problem with particle board furniture or anything constructed with particle board for that matter. The way it is put together it is much harder to get as good an application when using screws. Nothing beats real wood when it comes to the quality of furniture. Putting a stop to jumping on the bed would go a long way:)

That was a great post, when I got down to the solution and saw you chose none of the above, I just started laughing out loud thinking you did nothing to repair the bed. Im so glad you mentioned the hammer in insert nuts, because I have never heard of those before, but I also have frequent problems with particle board. We have a lot of Children's Bedroom Furniture at our house and like you there are occasions when we need to repair something. Anyways great post, I look forward to reading more!
